With a lifelong passion for exceptional vehicles coupled with decades of hands-on experience across the premium automotive industry, I created Pistonvault to offer specialist storage and transportation services that match the standards of the vehicles themselves - with security, discretion and uncompromising quality. I enjoy working with new and existing clients and believe integrity and great relationships are the key to success.
Experience
Founder Rob Cooney is an entrepreneurial business professional with over 28 years’ experience in the premium automotive business. Prior to establishing Pistonvault, Rob was a business consultant and led the commercial division of Bowler Motorsport; during this time was responsible for client management, bespoke vehicle builds and international logistics for motorsport & media events. Prior to Bowler, Rob worked in business growth for JLR Special Vehicle Operations in North America and Overseas regions.

Rob acquired considerable Sales and Marketing experience during his career; as Global Product Manager for JLR SVO, he led Product delivery for some of Jaguar's most iconic products. This included evaluating, planning and launching exceptional cars around the world including XKRS-GT, XFR-S, F-TYPE and F-PACE SVR. His career highlights included launching Jaguar ‘Project 7’ and ‘Project 8’ where he first became involved with special vehicle logistics and services across the globe. His dealings with exceptional cars and clients inspired Pistonvault.
Each new product brought new clients & relationships, activation of new services and global adventures. Rob worked closely with industry specialists and Luxury OEM experience provided first hand understanding of discerning clients needs; he now uses his accumulated knowledge and expertise to guide Pistonvault.
